Waterfront Brisbane
A new forefront for Brisbane
The $2.5 billion transformation of the Eagle Street Pier and Waterfront Place will deliver a global-standard business and tourist destination that aims to maximise its prime riverside location with enhanced open spaces and amenity and a revitalised premier waterfront dining hub.
The project comprises two new office towers, a riverfront retail precinct and expanded public space, including the widening of the riverwalk and a new destination dining experience at Naldham House.
Waterfront Brisbane will welcome Deloitte, DLA Piper, Allens, Minter Ellison, Gadens and Colliers to the first of its two towers, with 52% of the tower's office spaces now being committed, four years ahead of the project's scheduled completion in 2028.
A vibrant riverfront
Waterfront Brisbane delivers on many opportunities from Brisbane City Council’s City Reach Waterfront Master Plan.
Dexus is making a significant investment at the river level to create a public and open space that is accessible 24/7. This will provide additional public realm, a bustling retail strip featuring cafes and direct access to end-of-trip facilities. New moorings for commercial crafts, including river taxis, and a new CityCat terminal will contribute to the riverfront ambiance.
The construction of Waterfront Brisbane is underway and will be a staged delivery with the first tower expected to complete by 2028. The new Riverwalk will be up to 15 metres wide in some areas and will open with temporary finishes in early 2026 with full completion due in early 2028. The second tower will be built at a later stage.
